Both the KS3 boys’ and girls’ football teams have been gearing up for the new season, both with a number of fixtures this season.  The boys’ team is already off to a successful start, with an early season victory against Charles Read Academy. The girls’ team showed their commitment by avoiding the heavy rain and moving indoors to continue their practice and preparation for their first match on 2 October.

Duke of Edinburgh: Finding Their Bearings

The Duke of Edinburgh Award participants have been hard at work developing their map-reading and orienteering skills, while trying not to lose themselves in the masses of new skills they’ll be learning this year. Navigating through maps and compasses, they’re learning the essentials to guide them through their upcoming expeditions. The adventure has only just begun!

Ultimate Frisbee Takes Off

The Ultimate Frisbee Club is brand new this year and, let’s just say, it’s gotten off to a flying start! The players are loving the fast-paced action, learning to master the art of the perfect throw. This club is already becoming a popular choice, and we can’t wait to see their progress.

Fitness Club Builds Strength

Whether it’s running, lifting, or conditioning, the Fitness Club is all about helping students push their limits. Students have been hitting the gym hard, and the results are starting to show! With a focus on improving physical strength and endurance, this club is a favourite for those wanting to get fit and have fun.

Design Tech Gets Crafty

Our Design Tech Club has shown off their creativity this term, dabbling in a variety of activities, including crochet! Students have been working on hands-on projects that combine skill and imagination, and we can’t wait to see their future creations.

Gardening Club Cleans Up the Courtyard

The Gardening Club has been busy cleaning up the courtyard, preparing the space for future planting. Although they haven’t started planting just yet, they’re excited to put their new planters, which have just arrived, to good use soon. Watch this space for a blooming transformation!

Boccia Rolls On with Enthusiasm

Our invite-only Boccia Club has continued to thrive, with students showing great skill and enthusiasm. It’s a fantastic opportunity for team-building, concentration, and tactical play, and we’re excited to see where this season will take them.

More to Come!

With so many activities to choose from, from cross-country to art club, there’s something to suit every interest and talent. Stay tuned for more updates as our clubs and enrichment activities continue to inspire and engage students throughout the year.
