Science

Students in Science Club have embraced the holiday spirit with a gravity powered twist!  Students have designed and built reindeer models that have raced against each other using gravity and momentum.  An ingenious way to blend engineering, physics and the festive season to bring science to life in a creative way.

Boccia

Boccia Club have been experimenting with a game that has put a modern twist on the sport.  Instead of throwing balls, the players have been tossing hoops with the aim to get them to land and stop within a designated circle.  This creative variation has brought a fresh challenge to the sport.

Football

KS3 football teams have been working hard in their training sessions. Under the direction of Mr Brown and Miss Johnson, the teams are being put through their paces and their skills are coming on leaps and bounds.

Art

Students in Art Club continue to explore a range of techniques and mediums to turn their ideas into beautiful art pieces.

Maths

Students in Maths Homework Club have been receiving support to solve tricky equations and complex problems.  The extra work came in very handy when the year 7 students tackled the Merry Mathsmas challenge.

Bird Watching

In Bird Watching Club students have been observing local wildlife and learning about different species of bird.  The students channeled this ornithological knowledge to create beautiful bird themed Christmas cards.

Golf

Our golfers have been perfecting their swing and have been learning about the fundamentals of the sport.  Students have been enjoying the challenge of precision and control alongside hitting the golf balls as far as they can!  Some are landing some very impressive shots!

Table Tennis

Table Tennis Club students are playing longer rallies every week.  Playing against each other in friendly competition their skill of the game is developing at a rapid rate.
