Next week it is Anti-bullying Week.
During the week the academy will be holding ‘Make a Noise about Bullying’ assemblies.
Our Anti-bullying and Mental Health Ambassadors will be on hand at breaks and lunchtimes to answer questions and chat to students informally.
On Friday we will all be wearing ‘odd socks’. Odd Socks Day is a day to encourage students to express themselves and their individuality and uniqueness.

During Self Care Week the academy will be raising awareness amongst students on the importance of keeping their minds healthy and not just their bodies.
Each of the 5 steps to wellbeing will be shared with students every day and our Academy Chaplain will be sharing a daily reflection in Tutor Time.
The Academy has recently completed a health and wellbeing screening of all students and they will be given opportunity to reflect on their responses.
