As the GCSE exam season comes to a close, Year 11 have taken part in their final enrichment sessions.  The cooking group cooked an early morning curry before taking their final exam.

Stem Club have been investigating the densities of different liquids and taking part in a separating substances challenge.

Year 9 had a visit from the Royal Navy logistics team this week and after a presentation by the team took part in a cookery lesson delivered by the Royal Navy.  The results were fantastic, with the students cooking Chicken Kiev and Pavlova.

Earlier in the year we were very fortunate to receive funding from Rebel Restoration to buy a greenhouse and gardening equipment and from the Co-op community charity to buy seeds and seedlings.  This week saw the Gardening Club planting tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers.  Mrs Kuffour is looking forward to using the produce in her Food Technology lessons.
