  • The West Grantham Church of England Secondary Academy are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators as soon as possible for the upcoming GCSE examinations.  Applicants must be available to work the hours set out in the examination schedule.You will be required to work as part of a team to ensure that examination requirements are complied with.  You must be reliable, punctual, remain calm under pressure and have a good eye for detail.  In addition, you will be happy to work as part of a team or with individual students.The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for:
    • the preparation of the exam room
    • supervision of students entering, leaving the exam
    • supervision of students for the duration of the examWe offer:

West Grantham CofE Secondary Academy is seeking a reliable, hardworking and dedicated Cleaner to join our site team. This role is essential in helping us maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors.

About the Role

As a Cleaner, you will:

  • Carry out cleaning duties in a designated area of the school in line with the Academy’s cleaning specifications.
  • Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely at all times.
  • Report any concerns with cleaning equipment or materials to your supervisor.
  • Work safely and follow Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.

This role may involve some lone working and physical tasks such as bending, lifting and the use of cleaning machinery (e.g., buffers, vacuums).

The West Grantham Church of England Secondary Academy has a vacancy for a reliable and flexible school minibus driver.

A key part of this role is to transport engineering students to and from their off‑site college placements every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon (12:00pm–3:00pm).  During this time, the post holder will also be responsible for supervising the students while they are at their placement locations, ensuring their safety, behaviour and punctuality throughout the session.

Additional hours may be required on other days of the week and these would be paid on a claim’s basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport and supervise engineering students every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon (12:00pm–3:00pm). This includes driving students to and from their off‑site college placements and providing appropriate supervision while they are at the placement location.
  • Provide a safe, effective and efficient minibus service for sporting fixtures and educational visits, including occasional evening or weekend journeys as required.
  • Ensure high standards of safety, behaviour and safeguarding at all times.
  • Carry out all driving duties in line with Academy policies, vehicle checks and legal requirements.
